Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our healthcare team on a locum basis to assist with shifts at a number of GP sites based in and around Birmingham. The ideal candidate will provide primary medical care to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care and treatment of common illnesses.

Responsibilities

– Conduct patient consultations and physical examinations
– Diagnose and treat various health conditions
– Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress
– Coordinate patient care with specialists when needed
– Provide medical care in various settings such as nursing homes, hospices, and home care
– Perform medical procedures including medication administration, medical imaging interpretation, and basic clinical research

Qualifications

– Medical degree and full GMC registration
– Proficiency in medication administration and management
– Familiarity with medical imaging techniques
– Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
